The TRX is an extremely diverse and functional piece of equipment that is useable by both professional athletes and the general public. Here at Notts County F.C I have introduced it to the players to improve their core stability, overall strength and balance. In terms of a work-out for the core it is the best I have come accross and the most enjoyable to use. At all professional football clubs it is important to keep players injury free and to have them in the best shape possible. I believe that the TRX has improved the condition of all the players since they have been using it, and because of an improvement in thier core stability their is now a decreased likelihood of injury occuring (touch wood!). Along with a reduction in injury, an improvement in running performance can also be seen, which is also an important benefit to any professional football club.

There is not one area of the body that cannot be trained using the TRX, and you can change from one exercise to another in a matter of seconds, making your work-out aerobic in nature. For example you can be go from an exercise targetting the Quadriceps to an exercise targetting the Deltoids in seconds, without any complicated adjustments.
