Having seen the advert in Raider magazine for the TRX training system I thought why not lets give it a go. It soon arrived and i was egre to try it out at the first opportunity. having read the instructions and book and watched the DVD, I set about my first training seaseon. With all sincerity i can say I was pleasently surprised the exercise where challenging with out being so difficult that they where impossible. Setting up was easy and clear once fatigue set in reducing the resistance was easy enabling the whole work out to be completed with out pause.
I have been in the Army 17 years and been a PTI for 11 of those have lost track of the amount of times i was unable to train the muscle groups i wanted through lack of equipment or poor state of kit. This one piece of kit that fits into a small bag taking up hardly any room in a day sack, totaly eliminates the need for any other kit.
Also having suffered a prolapsed disc several years ago I have been do lots of corp stability work to help with the injury. Every exercise uses the cor muscles again bringing extra elements to even the simplest exercise.
All in all I can honestly see that I will never again go away on tour with out this bit of kit a simple but brilliant idea.
