Our company, Progressive Health and Fitness is a fitness and wellbeing coaching, and rehabilitation provider working with sports people and exercisers from novice to elite, including international cyclists and English Premier League footballers.

Here's my thoughts on the equipment:

'The TRX has provided the most versatile range of training routines I have experienced in over 30 years of training, it is unquestionably suitable for all level of clients.

The lightweight and compactness allows for simple transport and storage for the trainer - how many of us can take enough kettle bells or weights around with us? From the personal training perspective the TRX has been instrumental in me being able to maintain the service I provide. How many times have PTs heard clients claim working away means they've got no time to train or the hotel had no gym? A TRX in the travel bag ensures my clients will not fall off the programme because work gets in the way and the results continue to improve.

TRX versatility is awesome. The range of exercises specific to client is virtually unlimited due to the ability to infinitely adjust the centre of mass and therefore change the angle of pull about the joints, increasing or decreasing the intensity and resistance permutations. The system can provide a challenge for the elite athlete as well as stability for the rehab client, as an example, I have had a 4 week post knee op client rehabilitating alongside an elite athlete in a power training phase.

The ease of anchoring allows me to take a number of systems into group/team exercise classes - ever tried squeezing 10 inflated gym balls into you car? The systems provide a huge range of compound movements that challenge all major muscle groups, of equal relevance, the system is fantastic in developing core stability through holding correct form during the repetitions.

The TRX has been the most functionally effective, easy to use, cost effective piece of equipment that I have purchased. It is now an essential tool in my tool bag - and now the bag doesn't need to be that big. Outstanding!'
